How to help

Volunteer! We are always looking for volunteers to help with our various programs.

Donate! We need things such as art supplies, sports equipment and of course monetary donations are always appreciated and put to good use.

Please contact us for sponsorship opportunities. 

Holiday Respite Program

           REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED

Child and Youth ( mixed and grouped based on age and similar abilities.) ( Fun and engaging daily activities are planned with each child and youth that registers in mind.)

Registration for Bridges Holiday Respite Program ends this Friday December 6th at 6pm. Please call 289-362-0165 Today. First come first serve basis. Confirmation with payment is due by Registration deadline. Sorry we cannot take registration past the deadline as we require minimum enrollment each day we are are to open. Families will be contacted by phone if they are signed up for days we must cancel due to enrollment. Families will receive an automatic refund through e-transfer that day. After Monday December 9th there will be no refunds for any reason. For this reason all receipts for the Holiday Respite Program will be sent out by e-mail Tuesday December 10th. Please check your spam or junk mail if you do not receive your receipt by 6pm. In the case of inclement weather in which Bridges cannot open, only then will we provide a credit towards a program. 

Cost: $20.00/hour Group - 1 staff to every 3-4 participants

This holiday season we will provide limited 1:1 to 1:2 support for $25.00/hour on a first come first serve basis for those we feel would benefit from extra support. 

Due to interest we will open Holiday Respite Programs on these particular dates if we have the required minimum enrollment needed. Please watch for any cancellations. We will list them here by Monday December 9th if there are any due to low or no enrollment. The days and times previously listed by deadline December 1st on the website but are not listed here have already been cancelled due to no interest and we are now filling these days only.

OUR PRIORITIES ARE SAFETY & PARTICIPANT ENGAGEMENT. WE AIM TO MEET THE SUPPORT NEEDS OF ALL ATTENDING SO THEY CAN RECEIVE THE BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM. ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED WITH THOSE ATTENDING IN MIND. 

Bridges Seniors Club

​SENIORS And Adults Ages 55 +

This New Senior Club is for Independent Seniors looking for a place to meet new people, socialize and find new ways to spend their time. A unique location to add to your favorite places to be. Conveniently located inside the Pen Centre next to Dollarama. Activities incude but are not limited to fitness classes, coffee socials, variety of cards games, board games Bingo, Movie afternoons, scheduled outings and much more!

Most activities are covered with the membership (small fee may apply to some activities.) We are hopeful for a great response for the Senior Club!

We may then extend the days and hours activities are offered. Bridges Recreation is always looking for adult and senior volunteers for front desk, set up, clean up and those with specific skills and/or to run specific activities. Our goal is to be able to reduce cost even further when we attain a great core of volunteer staff for The Senior Club.
